| I'm finally going to do it! Go shopping by myself. That is a major thing with me these days. Some kind of social anxiety disfunction I guess. Anyways, I have presents to buy as under my tree is very bare. With the exception of decos that our puppy keeps tearing up. She also likes wrapping paper. Don't dare put any presents under the tree for fear she will tear them up too. Things are going well at work. Designing kitchens is a very challenging job. I am so glad that I took it. | Well I haven't gotten hurt lately! That's a good thing! I have a new title at work....Cabinet Specialist. I have about 8 designs I have to get done. My favorite and probably most challenging one is going to be the victorian house on Link Street. This house is monsterous! It has 3 kitchens!! The couple that owns it lives in California. They flew down last weekend to meet with me and go over their thoughts on the renovation. This is going to be an awesome project and I am so pumped about it. Now if only people in appliances would leave me alone so I can do my job. Hello to all my friends in Arlington! I miss you all bunches and will come see you over the Christmas holiday during my vacation. Happy Holidays to all!! | | |
| I haven't been able to post since Saturday. We went to some friends house on Cedar Creek Lake and got pretty drunked up. We took a boat ride around the lake about 1:30 a.m. and while I was walking up to the house, I twisted my knee. OUCH!! Good thing I was drinking heavily. James said I could've cut off my leg & used it as a crutch, as I felt no pain whatsoever. I don't remember doing it, however on Sunday....I nearly fell on my face when I got out of bed. I was resigned to the couch all day long...hopping to & from the kitchen & bathroom. The dr. called in some meds for me (but not the GOOD kind). I've had a brace on it since Monday & it is finally feeling better today. Thank goodness! I thought we would have to amputate...it hurt so bad!! First I hurt my tailbone when Jess, John & Mike were here (I was drinking heavily then too). Maybe it's time to lay off the wine for a while? Anyway, that's all I have...hope it's not too boring for all you wild ones!!

| Work was pretty much the same yesterday...although I did spend much of the day at the paint desk. If they post that position, I believe I will apply for it. We finally hit our SOS & Installed Sales budget...(first time for our new little store). I have the weekend off & plan on going shopping! Wish Jess was here to shop with me. Oh, we start our new rotations this week...it is pretty cool as we will have a 4 day weekend every 3rd week. The only bad thing is, after your weekend you work 7 days straight. Then 2 days off, then 8 days straight, then 4 days off. We will see how it goes. Gotta get my day started. | | |
| Well, another hum drum day at work. I did find out today that I am #1 in our district for Installed Sales & #2 for SOS sales. YEAH!!! That's SOMETHING for me coming from Arlington to Palestine (go Jess!!) Of course those numbers do reflect my previous sales from Arlington. Oh well, it was nice to hear my name called in the meeting today. I also found out that I am the designated SOS captain for the store. Apparently no one knows how to do Special Orders here. Imagine that! I do welcome the change though. There is practically no stress here...only wondering if you are going to be the center of the next rumor.
